ABOUT THE FRIENDS
The Friends of Avery Hill Park was established in 2005. Its Constitution says that the group will work in partnership with the Parks & Open Spaces team. The ‘Friends’ are involved in practical conservation tasks, such as bulb-planting and community litter-picks. Being a formal group, with a Constitution and management Committee, the group may seek grant aid from various ‘community funders’.
Along with the Borough’s other Park Friends’ groups (which currently number twenty-four), the Friends of Avery Hill Park is a member of the Greenwich Borough Parks Friends’ Forum.
